A New Sloth 1oz Silver Coin Issued
June 19, 2018
123 : 3999
In Nicaragua, a new commemorative coin (which will be appreciated greatly by the fans of flora and fauna) was issued. It shows a three-toed sloth - the slowest animal among mammals. The coin was issued by the Central Bank of the country, and it belongs to a series dedicated to wildlife. This is the second commemorative coin release. The animal is an indigenous nocturnal species, which means that it is most active at night time. Interestingly, the portrayal of the sloth is vividly colored, which makes the coin particularly beautiful and remarkable. Its denomination is C$100. The coin is made of .999 Fine Silver (Ag). The obverse of the coin shows the coat of arms of the country. Only 5000 coins were issued, which makes them quite affordable but still valuable enough.
